Home Energy Advice and Retrofit Team (HEART)
Bringing energy advice to a community near you
East Lindsey District Council have now launched a new demonstrator project to help support the local community with home energy advice and bring information on energy improvements/grants which may be available. The Home Energy Advice and Retrofit Team (HEART) are here to support residents who may otherwise struggle to access help and advice through in-person support on their doorsteps to help tackle fuel poverty, live more comfortably in their homes and save money on their energy bills. Following the addition of our Energy Van, ERIC (Energy & Retrofit Information Clinic), we will be holding more 'pop up' events across the district, alongside our existing events at established community hubs.
The programme has been made possible thanks to a funding award of £662,154.24 through the Local Energy Advice Demonstrator competition, which is funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.
Below is a list of future events, please check back for updates on where to find us next. Please note in the event type column, it states whether the upcoming community event is with the Energy Van ERIC, or solely with our Energy Advice Officers attending a community hub.
