Pride of Place Cons Report with Responses (PDF, 853 KB)- This survey has now closed. The full survey results and consultation responses have been included as part of an Expression of Interest application that was submitted by the District Council into Historic England's High Street Heritage Action Zone programme on the 11th July. The bid includes a number of projects that address many of the areas picked up in the comments and feedback provided through this survey. We expect to hear by the Autumn this year on whether we will be invited to a progress our bid through to a full application. If the bid is successful, a four year programme of new investment (totalling at least £3.6million) will be delivered through the Heritage Action Zone from April 2020. If the bid is unsuccessful, we will continue to look into different ways of supporting the identified activity through other means, as there are lots of good ideas in the bid which respond to local need.
