Budget Consultation

Outcome

Our Budget for 2019/20 and associated financial papers were approved at a meeting of the Full Council on Wednesday, 6th March 2019.

Council Tax Support Scheme 2019/20

Each year we have to decide whether to change the local Council Tax Scheme for working age applicants in our area.  This consultation allowed residents and businesses to have their say on our proposed Scheme for 2019/20. Council Tax Support Consultation Report 2019/20 (PDF) [977KB]

Outcome

The Council Tax Support Scheme report was approved at a meeting of the Full Council on 5th December 2018.  It was agreed that the current Council Tax Support Scheme 2019/20 with up-rating for working age claimants be continued; that a new class for Care Leavers aged 18 - 21 years be introduced and that approval for the final Scheme policy be delegated to the Chief Executive and S151 Officer, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Finance.

Woodhall Spa Local Development Order and Article 4 Directions

Following a request from Woodhall Spa Parish Council, East Lindsey District Council consulted on planning measures that would potentially help businesses and residents in Woodhall Spa Conservation Area preserve and enhance the area's distinctive appearance and character.  This consultation allowed residents and businesses to give their views on the measures that were being proposed to help preserve and enhance Woodhall Spa. Outcome

The Woodhall Spa Conservation Area Local Development Order (LDO) and the Article 4 Directions were approved and confirmed at a meeting of the Full Council on 10th October 2018.  The decision was made in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 Schedule 3 Article 4 (with regards the Article 4 Directions) and the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015 Article 38 (with regards the LDO).  Both Woodhall Spa Conservation Area Article 4 Directions and the Woodhall Spa Conservation Area Local Development Order came into force on Wednesday 17th October, 2018.
