Bain Valley Park - Horncastle

Bain Valley is a park which was opened to the public in 2010 and which has been created on top of an old rubbish tip.

The park is located to the north of Horncastle off the Louth Road, some 200 metres along the west side of Hemingby Lane. There is a footpath link to the town centre.

Facilities:

  • Paths to explore and several viewpoints over the River Bain and adjacent fishing pond 
  • A grassed area for informal games
  • Seating along the wildflower banks and other natural areas 
  • A disabled parking area and limited roadside parking
