Local Restrictions Support Grant (5th November 2020 to 31st March 2021) and Closed Business Lockdown Payment
We administrated these funds on behalf of Government and you can find further info on these schemes here.
This fund has now closed. Many thanks to all businesses that made an application.
The Local Restrictions Support Grant (5th November 2020 to 31st March 2021) was available to eligible businesses in the District that were impacted directly by restrictions during this period. In a similar way to the Small Business Grant/ Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant Funds which were delivered last year, the grant was available to rated operating businesses/ hereditaments that are required by law to close due to restrictions (to qualify, a hereditament must have been identified on the ratings list as of defined cut-off points - 05/11/20, 02/12/20, 31/12/20 and 05/01/21).
All eligible businesses/hereditaments were required to make new applications - applications to previous schemes (e.g. SBGF/RHLG) were not considered for these funds. Once applicants had successfully completed their application, they received a unique 16-digit reference number and confirmation email. Following a successful initial application, all future (eligible) payments were made automatically to beneficiaries - this included Tier Grants and the one-off Closed Business Lockdown Payment.
