Councillor Call for Action

Any Councillor may submit a request for a Councillor Call for Action (CCfA) in accordance with the provisions set out in the Council Constitution. The expectation is that the CCfA will only be initiated when all other options have been exhausted and the CCfA will be a means of a last resort.

The following matters are excluded from a CCfA:

  • A local crime and disorder matter (dealt with elsewhere)
  • Matters relating to planning or licensing decisions
  • Matters where an individual or entity has a right of appeal or recourse
  • Matters that are considered vexatious or discriminatory
