Burgh le Marsh
Burgh le Marsh received £1,000 from the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Parish Council Grants Scheme.
The funds were used for:
Sunday 5th June 2022 - Big Community Lunch celebrating the Platinum Jubilee. This included a free ploughman's lunch and cake with refreshments held in the village hall and Tinkers Green, Burgh le Marsh. A commemorative bench and tree planting ceremony took place to mark the special occasion.
At the event they had music from 1950's to present day, ice-cream van and face painter. The event was planned to bring the community together to celebrate in a relaxed environment with family friends and neighbours.
Thursday 2nd June 2022 - lighting of the town beacon and at the national time, at 9.45pm.
