Aby with Greenfield Parish Council

Aby with Greenfield Parish Council received £1,000 from the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Parish Council Grants scheme.

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations started with the community lighting the beacon on the village green with approximately 60 people in attendance.

There was a Queen's Platinum Jubilee Coffee morning with lovely cakes made by members of the community and the MP turn up with her family.

The last event was a picnic and games on the village green.  A large Jubilee cake was made and cut up for members of the community to enjoy.

Part of the funding was spent on a recycled plastic bench with a plaque dedicated to the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
