Change of Address or Name of Premises Licence Holder

Under Section 33 of the Licensing Act 2003 the holder of a premises licence, must as soon as is reasonably practicable, notify the Licensing Authority, of any change in their name or address.

The notification must be accompanied by the relevant notification fee of £10.50 (cheques should be made payable to East Lindsey District Council) together with the return of the premises licence. The Licensing Authority will then update and return the premises licence.

If it is not practicable for the licence holder to return the premises licence, then the notice to the Licensing Authority must be accompanied by a statement of the reasons for the failure to produce the licence.

A person commits an offence if they fail, without reasonable excuse, to comply with these requirements.

Our notice form can be found at the bottom of this webpage.
