Drinking more than recommended can lead to health risks including liver problems, reduced fertility, high blood pressure, increased risk of cancer and heart attack.  For more information about this and the recommended guidelines please see the links below which will give you access to advice and tools such as the unit calculator.

Double Impact

Double Impact is available locally to support people following their recovery from drug or alcohol problems, helping them to gain new skills and qualifications, access peer support and feel part of their local community.  Support is also available for family or associates of people affected by drugs or alcohol and also for none English people.

Community Alcohol Partnership

The Boston Community Alcohol Partnership (CAP) bring together local retailers and licensees, trading standards, police, health services, schools and other agencies to tackle the problem of underage drinking and associated anti-social behaviour.
