Support for Young People and Families

Information and resources for young people and families

Home-Start

Home-Start is a local charity that helps families with young children to deal with whatever life throws at them - they may be struggling to cope with a variety of challenges, including post-natal illness, disability, isolation, multiple births and the demands of parenting young children with at least one child under the age of 11.

Trained parent volunteers support families through a combination of home visiting, group support and social activities
