Councillors' Community Grants

East Lindsey District Council has made £2,000 available to every Councillor to help them support organisations and community projects in their wards.
The Councillors' Community Grants scheme provides grant funding to community projects run by not-for-profit organisations in East Lindsey.
Councillors have supported their communities by awarding the following grants recently:
Withern and Theddlethorpe Councillor Travis Hesketh kindly awarded St Andrews Church in Beesby Alford £100 in order to help them purchase signage to enable visitors to locate the Historical Church.
Sibsey and Stickney Councillors' Neil Jones and Thomas Ashton have awarded Stickney Bowls Club £300 in order to help with the repairs and restoration of essential machinery.
Horncastle Councillors' Sandra Campbell-Wardman, Richard Avison and Fiona Martin have teamed together and awarded Horncastle & District Community Association £1000 to enable them to provide better access between St Marys Church and the grounds of Horncastle Community Centre.
Binbrook Councillor Richard Fry has awarded Wolds Community Activity Group £250. This will enable the group to install outdoor exercise equipment.
Marshchapel and Somercotes Councillors' Daniel McNally and Paul Rickett joined together to award Marshchapel Parish Council £350 to help provide a flagpole with internal halyard and a low voltage LED 'pole' Christmas Tree.
Fulstow Councillor Edward Mossop contributed £500 to St Bartholomew Heritage Trust so they can provide equipment to hold social events at the Church.
Sutton on Sea Councillor Stef Bristow has contributed £360 to Sutton on Sea Gardening Club enabling them to upgrade an area of forgotten land.
Holton le Clay and North Thoresby Councillor Terry Aldridge has awarded £945 to Holton Le Clay Parish Council to help display part of a bomb bay door from a Lancaster Bomber.
Wainfleet Councillor Wendy Bowkett kindly awarded £500 to Wainfleet Methodist Church and Community Centre. This will enable them to replace the Church boiler.
Tetney Councillor Steve McMillan awarded £200 to Friends of Tetney Primary School to help provide transport for local school children to go see the pantomime.
Tetney Councillor Steve McMillian kindly supported Tetney Womens Institute in purchasing a digital projector by awarding them £250.
Wragby Councillor Ru Yarsley awarded Wragby Warhammers Baseball Club £200 to help them purchase stock equipment for new players.
Tetford and Donington Councillor Daniel Simpson awarded Donington on Bain Parish Council £300 in order for them to purchase a speed gun, as well as necessary training and insurances.
Sutton on Sea Councillors Stef Bristow and Robert Watson joined together to award Sutton on Sea Residents Association £1000. This will contribute towards the running costs of Sutton on Sea Christmas Fayre.
Skegness Councillors Mark Dannatt, Danny Brookes and Richard Cunnington have helped East Coast Gymnastics purchase new equipment by awarding them a total of £1289.40.
Sibsey and Stickney Councillor Neil Jones has awarded £500 to Frithville with Westville Parish Council, this will enable them to replace an old notice board which is beginning to rot.
Louth Councillors George Horton, Jill Makinson-Sanders, Andrew Leonard and Sam Kemp has all joined together to award £500 to Louth Cricket Club to help promote girls cricket in local schools, pay for facility hire, provide coaching and subsidise playing kit for new players.
Fulstow Councillor Edward Mossop has supported Fotherby Parish Council with £450 to enable the refurbishment of bus shelters.
Alford Councillors Sarah Devereux and Graham Marsh have joined together to award Alford Squash Club £100. This will help them provide a warm space on Christmas Day for people to go.
Horncastle Councillors Fiona Martin, Richard Avison and Sandra Campbell-Wardmen have awarded £500 to Horncastle & District Tennis Club to help them resurface the court and convert the existing floodlights into LEDs.
Binbrook Councillor Richard Fry has awarded £265 to Ludford Parish Council to enable them to install electricals for their Christmas Tree.
Tetford and Donington Councillor Daniel Simpson has helped Hemingby Village Hall replace their table clothes for events by awarding them £180.
