Environmental Crime such as - Littering, Fly Tipping, Dog Fouling, Graffiti, Urinating in the streets, Fly Posting and Abandoning a Vehicle are all illegal, they have a significant negative impact on the environment as well as spoiling the enjoyment of the countryside and harming wildlife.
East Lindsey District Council's proposals to reach their goal of being net zero by 2040 and to have a 45% reduction in carbon emissions by 2027.
We are responsible for the sweeping, litter picking and general cleansing of our land and public adopted highways, including emptying litter and dog waste bins and removing dead animals.

In 2021, the Council worked with parish councils, local community groups and Platform Housing to plant 10 new Community Orchards across the District. Following on from the 'Bearing Fruit' initiative a second round of funding was awarded in 2022, allowing 11 additional community orchards to be planted and two further orchard sites to be extended, thereby 'Growing the Network'.
