Visiting the Beach

East Lindsey has miles of wonderful beaches which can be enjoyed all year round. Bring a picnic, set up camp for the day and enjoy the vast expanses of sand and sea; go beachcombing, paddling or even for a swim!

Head to the award winning Blue Flag beaches of Skegness, Mablethorpe or Sutton on Sea for the best in family beaches where you can be sure of miles of beautiful sand and excellent water quality.

As well as our busy seaside resorts we also have one of the largest areas of unspoilt coastline in eastern England with some of the best national nature reserves and sites of specific scientific interest in the country.

The sleepy village of Anderby Creek has a gorgeous natural beach which is a favourite of many visitors for its peaceful atmosphere and unspoilt setting. The beach at Gibraltar Point is also worth a visit if you're after some solitude surrounded by nature and wildlife. Further up the coast the Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe National Nature Reserve boasts an abundance of wildlife including several rare species.
