Finding a home

If you are looking for accommodation there are options available

  • Private Rented
Renting in the private sector can allow you a greater choice about where you live. You can find properties advertised through estate agents, various websites, local newspapers, in shop windows or social media for example.

  • Low Cost Home Ownership
Properties developed by a Housing Association or developer which have been specifically built for people to part buy/part rent. To apply for low cost home ownership contact Help to Buy Midland

  • Hostels
Hostel accommodation is usually for single people who have nowhere to live or are going to be homeless. It is a short term option until permanent housing can be found. Hostels in East Lindsey need a referral from a professional and priority is given to local residents.

  • Social Housing
There are no council owned houses in East Lindsey. To apply for the housing register there is an online application . Eligibility and local connection details can be found by checking the Housing Allocation Scheme 2021.  For further information, please contact the Housing Hub on 01507 613135 or Housing.Register@e-lindsey.gov.uk.

  • Caravans & Mobile Homes
Mostly on the coastal strip, this type of accommodation is usually for holiday purposes only and not open all year round.
