To verify if you will receive Rural Rate Relief you will need to complete a Rural Rate Relief Application Form (PDF) [88KB] .
Wherever possible applications should be made within the financial year for which the relief is being sought.
We can also grant a discretionary rural rate relief on certain other occupied property in a rural settlement with a rateable value less than £16,500. If you wish to apply for this relief, please contact the Business Rates team.
