Area Appraisals

Conservation Areas are areas of towns and villages that have a special character and are of architectural and historic interest. We adopt and publish Conservation Area Appraisals to help protect, manage and enhance conservation areas. The appraisals will help to establish the most important characteristics of our towns and villages, and propose appropriate ways to protect these characteristics, manage and enhance the areas.
