Inspectors Report

The East Lindsey Pre-Submission Draft Local Plan was submitted to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on 18th April 2017. The Secretary of State appointed Jeremy Youle and Louise Phillips to conduct an independent Examination of the Plan.  Subsequently hearing sessions were held as part of this examination between the 12 July 2017 and 4 October 2017.

The Council received the Inspector's Final Report on 3rd May 2018. The Inspector has concluded that the Local Plan is both sound and legally compliant, subject to the implementation of the Main Modifications they have recommended.
