Paddling Pools

The Council operates public paddling pools in Skegness, Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea for residents and visitors to enjoy over the summer months. 

In 2025, the pools at Queens Park in Mablethorpe (LN12 2XA), The Fairy Dell in Skegness (LN12 2EU) and the Maple Leaf pool in Sutton on Sea (LN12 2ET) will open on Saturday 24th May for the Spring Bank Holiday, remaining open through to the end of September.

The opening times are 10am to 6pm each day during the summer and you do not need to book to access them. At times during this period the paddling pools may be temporarily unavailable due to water quality testing and sampling, keep an eye on the East Lindsey District Council Facebook page for any updates. 

As part of the ongoing development work of the new Seaview Colonnade building at Sutton on Sea, the Maple Leaf pool will have undergone significant refurbishment and improvement works ahead of re-opening, including repairs, redecoration and added safety and play features, investing in one of the district's most loved and used family attractions.
