Lincolnshire Prepared

Lincolnshire Prepared demonstrates the strong multi-agency commitment to resilience in Lincolnshire.

We all share a determination to respond effectively, together, to major emergencies in this area, and to minimise the impact on people, property and the environment.

This commitment began with the Civil Contingencies Act (CCA) in 2004 when the emergency services, health organisations, local authorities, government agencies and departments, voluntary agencies, and utility companies all joined together as a resilience forum to support one another for the benefit of the whole community, and in particular, for the protection of the most vulnerable in society.

While Lincolnshire is a safe place to live and work, the hazards the county is most at risk from have been identified and further details of these can be found on the Lincolnshire Prepared website.
