Housing Standards Complaints Privacy Notice

We are collecting your personal data as part of our Public Task in relation to your occupation of, or interest in, a residential property that the Council is currently evaluating in respect of the provisions of the Housing Act 2004 and associated legislation. This also meets the lawful requirement in processing any collected 'special category or children data'.

The information will be retained on the digital platform for 2 years and transferred into the Council's housing system. The information will be shared with your Public Sector Partnerships Ltd (PSPS) Customer Contact team, landlord, delivery partners, Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, Lincolnshire County Council and other persons where required by law.

The Council's Housing team will redact or remove your information 6 years from the conclusion of their investigation.

The Council and PSPS also uses interactions through the online forms to analyse how well it can deliver good customer service in support of its Public Task.  These historical interactions will be available to you in the future as part of a programme of online access to your Council data.

The digital platform collects information on behalf of the following Data Controllers: East Lindsey District Council, South Holland District Council and Boston Borough Council and is managed by PSPS. The platform is GOSS Digital Platform, contracted to our partners PSPS. GOSS Interactive Ltd use Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform to host the service in the UK.

If you have a concern or complaint about the way we are collecting or using your personal data, you should raise your concern with the Data Protection Officer by email at DataProtection@e-lindsey.gov.uk in the first instance. If the matter is not resolved you can make a complaint directly to the Information Commissioner's Office.
